For the 15th Psytronik Collection tape release we have gone back to where it all began ... The first ever Psytronik release Sceptre of Baghdad has been re-released - but with a slight difference!

This version of the game is the original version of the game that was produced by Jon Wells to be published by Atlantis Software. It has has more in common with the ZX Spectrum version of the game than the version Jon remixed for the Psytronik release back in 1993. The puzzles are the same as the Spectrum version and the main character sprite is also the same as the original Spectrum version.

This version of the game features a gorgeous new bitmap loading screen brilliantly pixelled by Dennis Gustafsson of GriffinSoft.

Note: When you purchase this game you will also receive a DELUXE DOWNLOAD link. The download contains this version of the game along with the original 1993 Psytronik version. As an extra bonus the download also includes high-quality recordings of all the C64 music from the game.

STORY

CYCLOPS - the one eyed giant. MEDUSA - who will turn you to stone with just a glance. A burning desert, a shark infested river. All these things and more must be passed before the Caliph of Baghdad can recover the sacred sceptre and prove his right to rule his beloved country.
